The Skin Scanner is a safe and accurate way to analyze skin conditions and to educate the client on a variety of skin conditions. The Skin Scanner uses ultraviolet light around (340-400nm) which makes the Skin Scanner very safe during a 3-4 minute examination.
An internal mirror with 2x magnification allows client to see exactly what the Skin Care Therapist sees. Together they may see a variety of colors brown, reds, oranges, purple and yellows. (Each color indicates the physiological factors present as well as the chemical composition of the acid mantle). No two skins are the same therefore each client will have their own examination documentation and follow-up protocol.
Here the professional expertise of the Skin Care Therapist will document the client’s findings on the examination client sheet or digitally with a Skin Scanner Camera.
This screening is an amazing tool in educating a client about preventing sun damage that can lead to skin cancer and premature aging of the skin, as well as using the correct products for their specific skin conditions.
